"Perspective can be the difference between success/fail, owning/ renting or easy/ hard. If you are like me and your prefer the first half to each of those differences, you'll love these classes!

My method is original, simple and visual. I teach my Clock Cutting Method. Time is the most important thing we have in life and clocks are what we use to measure it, so that's where I drew my inspiration. We've all seen and used plenty of analog clocks in our lives. How many times have you utilized a protractor in your life?

Utilizing the Clock Cutting Method you will learn a round layer shape, the most famous, money making haircut in salon history.

This lesson will show you the importance of body position and where to stand depending on then shape of layers. Also even teach you where to stand when sectioning for no resistance when creating your line. It will teach the importance of the mirror and how to properly utilize it as a tool/indicator. It will also teach you the importance of your combing direction and what you will get from it! This one lesson can open your mind, letting you see how simple things can be when you think inside the box, work the rules and have proper boundaries."

Wayne Dyer said "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change."

Who is Jun Jie - A true artist at heart, Jun Jie’s love for creative expression was ignited amidst the pulsating energy of New York City. Surrounded by the city’s dynamic fashion landscape and architectural wonders, he found his muse and set out on a path that would redefine the artistry of hairdressing. With an unwavering passion for creating shapes and forms with his hands, Jun Jie embarked on his creative journey at Parsons School of Design, earning a BFA in architecture and interior design. Although deeply fascinated by the world of design, he yearned for a more hands-on approach and found his calling in the world of hair.

The turning point came when Jun Jie stumbled upon a captivating image of Vidal Sassoon’s iconic 60’s graduated bob on the legendary actress “Nancy Kwan.” Intrigued by the possibility of achieving flawless precision in shaping organic, disorganized material like hair, Jun Jie enrolled in cosmetology school, marking the beginning of his extraordinary career. After honing his craft as an apprentice at Vidal Sassoon salons in both uptown and downtown New York, Jun Jie’s natural talent caught the eye of the industry giant. Renowned for his precision haircuts with an edgy twist, he approaches hair as a medium for individual expression. In his own words, “Every strand of hair has a purpose; it is pure sculpture. Let me do more so you can do less. Your hair is your identity, and I am here to sculpt it into perfection, tailored to your bone structure and lifestyle.” Jun Jie, the stylist with a passion for precision and a commitment to unleashing the true potential of every individual’s hair.
